    NYC retail hoarding market

New York City is the largest retail market in North America, with an estimated $85 billion in annual retail sales. The constant cycle of store openings, renovations, and brand launches means hoarding graphics are a permanent fixture of the retail landscape.

High-traffic locations like Fifth Avenue see over 16 million pedestrians annually — making hoarding graphics one of the highest-value advertising surfaces available during a fit-out period. A well-designed hoarding wall at a Midtown location can generate thousands of daily brand impressions at a fraction of the cost of traditional OOH advertising.

    NYC compliance considerations

New York has some of the most stringent building and fire codes in North America. Here's what we handle:

    • → Fire resistance: All materials meet NFPA 701 flame-retardant standards
    • → DOB compliance: Exterior signage sized and placed per NYC Department of Buildings rules
    • → ADA clearances: Hoarding layouts maintain required accessibility corridors
    • → Union considerations: We work with union and non-union crews as required by location
